Flor de sel or flor de sal (flower salt, salt flower) is sea salt, often called the queen of all salts. It owes its name to the finest salt crystal flowers, which arise under certain conditions (sun, wind, moisture, crystals form on the surface of seawater, whose shape resembles ice crystals). Flower salt is collected by hand, the top thinnest layer is collected, which is formed by evaporation of sea water in the salinas. Fleur de sel has been known since ancient times, although it was previously used as a laxative. Today, Fleur de sel is a delicacy sought after by gourmets, which is used for the final flavoring of dishes. Due to the fact that flower salt does not undergo refining and is thus of purely natural origin, it retains very valuable minerals and trace elements.
Habanero Jaguar pepper from the Capsicum chinense jacq series. originally from Mexico, they were grown by Mexican scientists from the INIFAP research institute in 2009 on the Yucatán Peninsula and the process was completed in 2016. It is therefore a newly bred chilli that is just beginning to be sold in Europe. It adapts ideally to the environment of the peninsula and is highly resistant to pests with a high yield of up to 30 tons per hectare. The plant grows to a height of 120 cm, the fruit reaches a size of 3 centimeters in diameter with a highly characteristic orange color. Habanero Jaguar is considered a very promising variety due to its viability, resilience, fruit quality, taste and burning, but also shelf life.
